Mr. Toad's Wild(ly INSANE) Ride..

Well, part two in the tea time journey was a tad more...involved.
Keep in mind that I am partaking in these journeys to find a more in depth spiritual meaning, and possibly a sense of higher presence in our existence.

That being said, let me tell you what I found. My co-explorer Alice and I decided to double the amount we used previously, and were fairly certain that this would yield the proper results.
We finished our tea, then decided to adjourn to the bedroom to relax with some meditative music, to assist in achieving more visions and possibly an out of body experience.
As we laid there we could feel the waves flowing in and the patterns on the inside of our eyes began to form, to dance around and start showing the presence of alien intelligence. All the surfaces of the ceiling and room were taking their own shapes into new direction. We shared each others experiences and as it worked it's way deep into our deeper consciousness we both realized this was going to be quite a bit stronger than the last time. In other words, holy shit we were in trouble.

The next wave was beginning to hit, and boy was it a doozie. I tried to just keep my eyes closed and enjoy the patterns and movement, but that proved to be a bit overwhelming. Not nearly as bad as keeping my eyes open though. Then before I even realized, we were up on our feet and heading to the back yard to get some air and space.
Once outside, the world erupted into a vision of symmetrical fire and imagery. There were seas of Indian temples and columns amongst the branches of trees, eyes in all of the leaves, the sky was a veil of electric blue with thinly stenciled patterns of fractal-like shapes, so deep and pure, outlining the trees with a razor sharp vengeance.
The trees danced like cardboard cutouts in a surreal animation, overlaid on a blue background, pivoting in weird mechanical arcs. As they rocked back and forth in synchronicity, all the branches moved like flames tickling the sky, steadily pulsing to the sound of large, deep jungle drums. Every direction I would look had the same sense of urgency, and a grand scale of importance and deeper meaning. A fabled dreamland of sorts, a mystical mecca, draped in lush colors and textures, calling out to me with deepening meaning. Where was I? What did all this mean?

We quickly realized this was way more than our little minds could grasp, and started to search for reprieve. The hose was laying close by and spoke of relief so we quickly commenced with spraying all the foliage around us to quench the thirst of all things great and small. They asked for fluids, were heard it. After all it was a warm morning, why shouldn't we share the wealth?
After obliging our green companions we continued to spray each other down to try and lessen the effects of our mind expansion, and it seemed to work wonders- for a bit.

The drops of water on Alice's arms were mesmerizing. So vivid and bright, each drop had it's own light source glistening in the sun like a mini quasar, and all of them moving in unison, growing and contracting, sliding downward to mother earth, it was a beautiful symphony, like a school of fish following the point man to the ends of the ocean. The mist on the hairs of my arm looked like a blanket of diamonds, all blindingly bright and strung together perfectly. It was breathtaking, but quickly overlooked now by the water soaked cracks in the smooth concrete slabs underfoot. The lines of the cracks were swelling and shrinking, all underneath the layer of shimmering water flow. They looked alive and held my interest for quite a bit. No matter how much I sprayed the hose at the dancing, eel-like cracks they would disappear. They kept undulating and growing.

At this point Alice started relaying to me that it was "all a big cosmic joke, that all of it was just a joke, everything that was happening to us, all the things around us were just part of a practical joke". That the very questions we asked, the answers we sought, to find out the meaning of the universe and all things shielded in the other worlds, were now being shown to us- here you go, here's what you wanted, now go ahead and squirm as you try to cope with it all. As Alice relayed this to me, she smiled and laughed maniacally. Laughed and laughed between sharing each bit of new found knowledge, laughed and laughed as her mind melted away from any sense of normalcy we once knew, and seemed to quickly forget how to return.

In the midst of the laughter, tribal drummings, and being drenched with the hose we were seemingly no longer aware of, we truly approached a near state of madness. . It was truly the crazy taking over the asylum and were desperately searching for the key to the front gate.
As I continued to look around, I noticed the floorboards of the deck come alive...

To be continued..
